No goblets enchanted, no maidens in towers I’ve not had a nap in approximately hours.” He ghosted his horse, left a note on the gate: “Dear steed, I’m retiring. You’ve been truly great.” Then strolled to a village (his helm on askew), And opened a smoothie shop called “The Holy Chew.” He blended with grace and poetic finesse, Kale with conviction, bananas with zest. Adventurers came in with swords on their backs He served them oat milk and therapy snacks. “Sir Knight!” they all cried, “You abandoned the Grail!” “It’s overrun now with accountants from Hell!” He sipped his own blend with a glimmering eye, Then shrugged and said, “Cool. Not my circus. Goodbye.” They called him a traitor, a coward, a bore, While he meditated barefoot behind the juice store. He grew herbs in pots and healed inner strife, Found peace, found plants, found post-quest life. And though legends forgot him, bards wrote no songs, The knight never wondered if quitting was wrong. For while others chased dragons in loop after loop, He was busy perfecting a lavender soup.
