Brass Balls
If I had a self-help brand, and God help us all if I did, it would be called Brass Balls.
Not “Harmony Haven.” Not “Bloom with Grace.”
Brass .
Balls .
Because following me isn’t a gentle stroll through a sun-dappled meadow; it’s an aggressive cannonball into a malfunctioning carnival. And you’d better bring armor.
Picture this: You, clinging to a 1978 Bally pinball machine, while it hurls itself down a steep hill at midnight. No brakes. No lights. A furious swarm of bats chasing you. Sparks flying. Somewhere, faintly, the sound of a banjo.
That’s the starting point. That’s Day One.
Self-help with me isn’t about journaling your feelings into pastel notebooks. It’s about lighting your to-do list on fire, hurtling yourself into the unknown at maximum speed, and making peace treaties with gravity on the way down.
Brass Balls isn’t about becoming your best self. It’s about duct-taping yourself together mid-air and declaring, loudly and with great conviction, that you’re having the time of your goddamn life.
You don’t “follow” me. You get flung after me like a loose coin in a washing machine set to “apocalypse.”
Following Brass Balls means:
Getting comfortable face-planting into opportunity.
Learning to love the smell of burning rubber and broken expectations.
Accepting that “plans” are just theoretical napkin sketches you laugh at when you’re upside down at 80mph.
And if you think there’s a step-by-step program, friend, you are tragically mistaken. There are no modules. No worksheets. No soothing TED Talks about resilience. There’s only instinct, caffeine, bad ideas with excellent marketing, and the occasional glitter explosion you have no time to explain.
You’re not “growing” here. You’re mutating spectacularly, like a radioactive butterfly being chased by debt collectors.
In the Church of Brass Balls, the holy sacraments are:
Staring into the abyss and shouting “Bet!”
Mistaking turbulence for altitude.
Wearing your failures like custom-tailored jackets with rhinestones and LED lights.
By the time you’re done, you won’t be asking for permission — you’ll be high-fiving disaster on the way to whatever fresh calamity you call a goal.
You’ll be the one screaming gleefully from the pinball machine’s belly as it crashes through the gates of opportunity like a glitter bomb strapped to a runaway rhino.
So if you crave comfort, coherence, or a career path you can explain to your relatives , Brass Balls is not for you.
If you want safe, there’s a coupon code somewhere for ergonomic stress balls and lavender-scented regret.
But if your soul smells like gasoline and bad decisions, if your dreams look suspiciously like bar fights in space, if you’ve ever woken up and thought, “ You know what? Today’s the day I out-chaos the universe, ” Step right up.
Grab the plunger.
Launch yourself into the screaming neon void.
We’ll be waiting , covered in confetti, duct tape, and questionable life choices.
Good luck. Godspeed. Don’t forget your helmet.
